The superhero MMO DC Universe Online (PS3, PS4, PC) has honored the red blur, Flash, on his 75th birthday.
Compared to Marvel’s competition of green rage monsters, Nordic gods, playboy geniuses in robot suits, and mutants, Flash, the red blur, sometimes seems like a relic from another time. No wonder, he has been around for a quarter of a century now. Flash can basically just “run damn fast.” But the oldie is now once again among the superheroes of DC who have been brought to their own current TV series – alongside Arrow and the still very young Batman.
And the superhero MMO DC Universe Online is also dedicating a monument to Flash on his 75th birthday. Flash first appeared in 1940 in a different incarnation. The current one, Barry Allen, obtained his powers through a lightning strike.
In the video, DC Universe Online reveals that they designed the “Superspeed” ability arsenal with the red blur, Flash, in mind.
