The system requirements for Dauntless are now known. They are not as gruesome as the Behemoths in the game.
Dauntless is expected to be a F2P coop online RPG. It is considered a mix of Monster Hunter and Dark Souls. Since Monster Hunter is not available on PC here in the West, the game already interests many people. In principle, Dauntless is like taking most of an MMORPG out and focusing on the boss fights and the preparation for them.
You will battle against huge monsters, the Behemoths, recognize their combat patterns, and learn to properly react to these attacks to eventually take down the Behemoths. This should be possible in coop with up to four players.

An open beta for Dauntless is expected this year. Now the system requirements are available.
The minimum system requirements for Dauntless
- Graphics card: A 660 Ti (DX11)
- CPU: i5 SandyBridge
- RAM: 4 GB
- Operating system: Windows 7 DX 11 Support
This will get you low settings and 720p.
The recommended system requirements for Dauntless
- Graphics card: A GTX 980 (DX 11)
- CPU: i7 Haswell
- RAM: 8 GB
- Operating system: Windows 10
This should allow you to handle high settings and 1080p.
Can your PC run Dauntless?
As is typical for free-to-play titles, these are relatively low minimum specs to allow access to as many players as possible, who can then play with potato quality if necessary. If it should look nicer, the computing machine needs to be a bit beefier.
Here you can check on the systemrequirementslab site if your PC can handle Dauntless. You need to install a tool and let it run. The website will then tell you whether your PC meets the minimum and recommended requirements or where there might be problems.
