The Coop RPG Dauntless has introduced the third enemy.
Dauntless is described as a mix of Monster Hunter and Dark Souls. It is a Free2Play RPG that is supposed to enter beta this year . The core gameplay revolves around boss fights with up to four players against a Behemoth, a monstrous creature.
The third Behemoth that has now been introduced is called “Embermane,” and it enjoys being fiery.
In an account from a hunter who survived an encounter with the Embermane, the creature is described as a predator, feline in appearance, with a large horn on its snout and a spiked tail.
It repeatedly drew back into the underbrush during the fight. It was everywhere and nowhere at the same time. The Embermane is said to even be able to breathe fire. A truly fearsome creature.
The other two Behemoths that have been seen are Pangar, an armored, rolling hunter, and Shrike, an owl-like monster.
