In Fortnite: Battle Royale, Patch 6.0 is being thoroughly examined for news, and data miners have made some discoveries. They found a second trap with a freezing effect and hints about the “dark” skins that players have been waiting for weeks.
Patch 6.0 is under investigation: Every time a new patch goes live, numerous data miners are already digging into every last piece of code. Along the way, data miners continually stumble upon clues about what might happen next in Fortnite.
However, there is no confirmation whether and when these hints will actually come to fruition. But we will show you what data miners have found in the files of Patch 6.0 .
Freeze Trap discovered: There is a specific hint this time about a new item for Fortnite Battle Royale. It is the Freeze Trap, which you may already know from Save the World.
The Freeze Trap is supposed to deal minor damage to players and slow them down. Unlike the current “Spike Trap,” which kills many players immediately, it would act more as a supportive element.
The attacker would then find it easier to eliminate a shock-frozen opponent who can only move at a snail’s pace.
The catch with traps in current Fortnite is how to get opponents to fall into one. In Fortnite: Save the World, there is a whole arsenal of ceiling, floor, and wall traps – in “Battle Royale” so far only the Spike Trap.
If the Freeze Trap comes in one of the next updates, it will likely have a rarity grade of rare (blue).
Hints of the Dark Color Bomber discovered
Hints of the dark skin found: Since the end of Season 5, players have been expecting that there will be “dark skins” in Fortnite.
At the moment, many skins in Fortnite are colorful and bright, some of which will receive “evil mirror skins.” This theory comes from a loading screen and is now getting new support.
A data miner has discovered a “dark pickaxe” that could match the “dark bomber” from the screen (thumbnail). The pickaxe does not have the colorful motif of a unicorn llama, but is more like a dark dragon. The pickaxe is called “Dark Horn.”
Data miner HypeX believes these dark skins could be related to the flying island. The is currently floating around and collecting the rune. It could be possible that this way the “dark skins” could come to Fortnite?
