The update on the new Season 5 in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone brought not only new content to the game but also apparently a hint about the successor.
When will MW3 be revealed? The reveal of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 is expected to take place on August 17, 2023. Activision Blizzard has not confirmed the date yet, but it is already known that the reveal will be an event in Season 5 of Warzone.
Where do the information come from? Data miners found the information about the reveal of Modern Warfare 3 in the patch of Season 5 (via Twitter). Keep in mind that this is not official information.
On the official Twitter channel, it was announced on the night of August 2, 2023, that key art and more would be revealed in the coming week.
Developers take the mega leak with humor
What else is known? So far, not much has been known about Call of Duty 2023. For a long time, it was even suspected that it would not be a stand-alone premium CoD at all. Meanwhile, numerous information have been leaked (via GameStar).
What will Modern Warfare 3 look like? It was already known beforehand that the color scheme would switch from green to red. After the logo had already been leaked through a promo action by Monster Energy, the data miners now allow a look at the expected key art with the bearded Captain John Price (via imgur).

What weapons will there be? In the game files, there is also said to be a list of possible weapons for CoD: MW 3. Insiders have already decrypted some of them. It is not yet known if this will be the complete arsenal (via MP1st)

When will Modern Warfare 3 come out? No official date is known yet, but according to insider Tom Henderson, fans should mark fall on their calendars (via Insider Gaming).
The beta for PlayStation is said to run from October 6 to October 10, 2023, while other platforms have to wait until October 12 and can play until October 16. Early access to the campaign is expected to follow on November 2, 2023, and for everyone else, it should start on November 10.
