Destiny 2 continues to surprise players: A Guardian has now found out what happens when you achieve a 50-kill streak in PvP.
There’s always something to discover in Destiny 2’s PvP. A player has now taken it to the extreme and achieved so many kills that even the honorable Lord Shaxx ran out of medals. But the popular Crucible overseer has a special surprise for players with a high kill streak.
Lord Shaxx is a secret DIY enthusiast
This is what happened: Two Destiny 2 players teamed up to put Lord Shaxx to the test: Up to which kill streak are there medals, and do they ever run out in the game?
The players competed against each other, with one allowing himself to be taken down repeatedly by the other. This way, the Guardians achieved a streak of 50 kills.

This is what happens at a 50-kill streak: Lord Shaxx, the overseer of the Crucible PvP mode, is known in the community for his passionate and amusing comments. And even at a streak of 50 kills, the old veteran knows how to impress.
At that point, he actually runs out of medals. Where the medal should normally be displayed, it only says “Insert medal here”. The field itself, where the icon of the medal usually appears, remains empty.

But Shaxx does not hold back and quickly puts together a little something himself. Suddenly, a medal with a “hand-drawn” smiley appears, and the description reads “I made this for you”.

Even in the feed in the lower left corner, it is noted that Shaxx has made something special for the player.
The players recorded his reaction to the kill streak in a video:
This is what the community says: Players are already celebrating Shaxx’s video of the hand-made medal in the Destiny subreddit. Shaxx has long been popular in the community, and this was further enhanced with the Forsaken addon.
Players are particularly impressed by the implied relationship between Shaxx and Mara Sov, and at one point players even wanted the Crucible representative to replace Zavala as Titan leader.
However, players now have a whole new question: What happens at a 100-kill streak?
