With the new endgame content “Rift of Space and Time” for the MMORPG Bless Online, the development studio Neowiz has not done itself any favors. Fans are up in arms.
New endgame content is supposed to be well received, as it gives high-level players more to do. However, the introduction of “Rift of Space and Time” in Bless Online went horribly wrong.

What does the new content bring? “Rift of Space and Time” is a defense scenario for players level 45 and up, who must protect an artifact from wave after wave of enemies.
- Played twice a week
- Requires at least three players with a minimum level of 45
- When the round starts, players activate the defense systems in the “Tower of Distorted Dimension”
- Monsters will now attack from various directions and you must fend off each wave
- As a reward, challenge points await, which can be exchanged at the “Bracelet Enhancement Material Merchant”
Players are Angry
This is why the new content is not well received: The reactions of Bless players to the update are largely negative. Many do not understand how Neowiz can introduce new content while all the problems still plague the MMORPG.
“Really, Neowiz? First, improve the catastrophic performance before introducing new content so that it can be played at all,” says Lydhe in the comments on the update on Steam.
Many others share this opinion. In addition, the new content is not free of problems. If you die during battles, you can only revive by using the currency Lumena. This further fuels players’ anger.
Are there any positive voices? Not everyone sees the situation so negatively. Some are also happy about the content.
“First good content since launch. Now take care of the performance,” says Archen on Steam, for example.
The downward trend in player numbers for Bless Online since release in June cannot currently be stopped by the new update.
