As you win more rounds against a creepy figure, your deck gains powerful cards. You progress with your character across a game board and get to know the power of Inscryption.
Especially the function of sacrifices in this game is reminiscent of the tributes in Yu-Gi-Oh!. If you want to summon a powerful being, you must sacrifice enough cards. Only then do you have enough resources to bring it onto the game board.
