In Darco, you must survive in a world populated by nasty machines and dragons. The project can currently be supported via Kickstarter.

What’s it about?
Thanks to the steam engine, it was once possible to develop some wonderful constructs: flying fortresses, mechanical beings, and technological innovations that protected humanity from natural disasters. But the protection ends when dragons appear and turn life into hell for humans.
Soon machines were developed to deal with the scaled threat, but it was of little use. Now, only sparse remnants of civilization remain. The player takes on the role of one of the last survivors.
In the dystopian world, it is not only dragons that you must fight against, but also the environment itself. Although you encounter machines that were actually supposed to help you survive. The problem is, due to technical errors, these cannot distinguish friend from foe …
At least: You find an ally in someone you might not have expected. A loyal dragon who fortunately does not want to leave your side.
What are the key elements?
In addition to exploring the open world, which features an interesting symbiosis of steampunk and jungle romance, you can improve your skills, gather resources, and build a base. You are not only hindered by opponents in the form of mechanical animals or other players, but also by hunger and thirst.
At the heart are the dragons. The companion you receive can be trained and later you can ride on it and even fly. Additionally, you will be able to acquire more dragon companions as the game progresses. They are divided as follows:
- Dragon (Quadruped)
- Wyvern (Biped)
- Element – Fire
- Element – Earth
- Element – Water
- Element – Air
When will Darco launch?
In May, the early access phase will start, during which extensive testing will take place. The survival game is set to be finally released in the 4th quarter of 2019. The Kickstarter campaign is still running until the end of March, where you can support the developers.
