Release: When does Season 2 of Dandadan come out?
The first episode of Dandadan will premiere on July 3, 2025. As in Season 1, the episodes will likely be released on a weekly basis, allowing you to watch a new episode every 7 days. Previously, interested viewers could see the first three episodes of Season 2 in cinemas.
Trailer: Is there already a clip for Season 2?
Season 2 of Dandadan already has a new trailer. The focus is on the first three episodes with action-packed scenes that seamlessly continue from Season 1. However, there are also lighter moments showing Momo and Okarun in a maid café.
Streaming Services: Where can you watch Dandadan?
Dandadan is currently available on several streaming services, including:

- ADN (subscription)
Crunchyroll, Netflix, and ADN have already announced that they will also show the continuation. The new episodes will be aired in parallel with the Japanese broadcast.
Story: What happens next for the characters?
Season 2 will conclude the Cursed-House-Arc, which ended with a cliffhanger in Season 1. Additionally, the Evil-Eye-Arc will be adapted, introducing a new supernatural being. It is also likely that the Kaiju-Arc from the manga will be included in Season 2, although this has not been confirmed yet.

In the Cursed-House-Arc, the situation intensifies as the eerie Kito family tries to appease the local god to prevent a volcanic eruption. Momo, Okarun, and Jiji must fight against the fanatical family and a giant worm. In the Evil-Eye-Arc, Jiji is possessed by the namesake yokai, who wants to eliminate all of humanity. It’s about uncovering the tragic past of the spirit and stopping him. In the Kaiju-Arc, a gigantic monster suddenly appears and attacks the city. In the final battle, the team must pilot a giant mecha.
Episodes: How long will Season 2 last?
So far, there is no information on the number of episodes for Dandadan. Season 1 concluded after 12 episodes, so it can be assumed that there will be a similar number for the second season.
Synchronization: In which language can I watch Dandadan?
You can listen to Dandadan in the Japanese original version with German subtitles right at the release of the new episodes. Alternatively, you can also watch the anime with the German dubbing. However, it is still unclear when the German dubbing will be available. If it follows the pattern of Season 1, it should be available shortly.
In Season 1, there were even two different German versions. One was from Netflix (Interopa Film), and the other was from ADN (Oxygen Sound Studios). The ADN version was also used for Crunchyroll.
It has not yet been officially confirmed whether this approach will also be adopted for Season 2. On X, the ADN team has already been asked if there will be another separate dubbing. The response was that ADN could not comment on that.
In addition to Dandadan, there will be other highlights coming this summer. One of them is Gachiakuta. The manga has already been well received by fans.
