A strange stream on Twitch causes excitement among the fans of Cyberpunk 2077. What is going on?
Fans of CD Projekt Red are longing for new information about the upcoming RPG Cyberpunk 2077. A strange livestream has now started on Twitch that is connected to the game. However, fans are not quite sure what to make of it, as only lines of code are being streamed. Those who want to follow the stream can do so here.
Update 7:00 PM: Actual gameplay is now visible. They are showing the gameplay demo that journalists were able to see at E3 2018.
First activity since July: The Twitch stream from CD Projekt RED was last active in July, where a Gwent tournament was still being broadcast. In the meantime, the stream is displayed as “playing Cyberpunk 2077”. The stream currently carries the title “DATA TRANSMISSION IN PROGRESS_” which translates to “Data transmission is in progress”. The shown letters and numbers are file codes that are currently being transmitted.
What fans hope for: Many of the currently nearly 22,000 viewers of the stream (as of 12:30 PM) hope that CD Projekt RED will now show the Gamescom demo live in the stream, which only a few selected players were able to see on site.
Search for hidden message: Some fans also suspect that within the numerous lines of code, there is a hint or riddle hidden. CD Projekt RED is known for such games, as they previously hid game keys for The Witcher 3 in a trailer.
So far, Cyberpunk 2077 has no release date, and a large part of the game content has not yet been presented.
As soon as something concrete arises or the riddle surrounding the livestream is solved, we will of course report on it.
Are you figuring out this livestream? Do you have any idea how to decode the riddle? Or are you just letting it unfold?
