Here are some tips you should consider when buying a gaming PC. We will outline points regarding the graphics card, RAM, and processor. Keep these tips in mind if you want to buy a gaming PC or even build one yourself.

What you get for little money: Gaming PCs with a GTX 1650 fall into the lower performance range. If you are a casual gamer and do not care about the best graphics, you can look at these devices. The performance is more than enough for those who play Fortnite and games with low graphical requirements. If you want more, you will already be hitting your limits here.
For a slightly larger budget: With the GTX 1660 Ti and faster, you can play almost all modern titles on high settings. You will also benefit from higher FPS numbers – if your screen allows it.
Future-proof performance: The Super variants of the RTX 2060, RTX 2070, and RTX 2080 provide you with sufficient performance for maximum details and high frame rates. The gaming PCs here also cost accordingly more.
What else you should consider: Graphics cards should have at least 6 GB of video memory. 4 GB is too little in the long run. 8 GB is currently the best investment without a large additional cost.
What to consider regarding the processor
Minimum: Pure quad-core processors without virtual core doubling generally offer enough performance but may limit your graphics card in the long run. A gaming CPU should not have less than four cores.
Recommended: Recommended gaming processors have at least 4 cores and can process 8 threads thanks to virtual core doubling. Even better are processors with 6 cores for 12 threads. An example would be the Ryzen 5 3600, which represents a typical mid-range gaming CPU.
What to stay away from: In general, you should not buy gaming PCs that use outdated Intel architecture up to the 7000 series or AMD FX processors. While they offer enough performance, they rely on old chipsets and outdated RAM, where replacement parts are now difficult to obtain. However, these should not be found in modern gaming pre-built PCs.
What else you should consider: With the Ryzen 5000, AMD released a CPU in mid-November that can easily compete with Intel.
If you mainly game in WQHD or UHD, the graphics card is significantly more relevant than your processor.
This much RAM should be in the gaming PC
Minimum limit: 8 GB is already tight for a modern PC system. If you want to play with the computer, you should buy a PC with 16 GB or plan a budget to upgrade the RAM. Motherboards in modern gaming PCs usually have no problem with this.
Recommended: 16 GB of RAM is now the minimum if you want to game regularly. More is certainly not wrong. In the long run, you should aim for 16 GB or more of RAM.
Future-proof: If you want to be prepared for the future, you should aim for at least 32 GB of RAM.
