What kind of game is it?
- It Takes Two tells the story of the couple Cody and May, whose marriage is currently anything but good. Through a spell, they are suddenly transformed into dolls and must find a way together to become human again.
- For this, you grab a friend or your partner and tackle various challenges as Cody and May. From puzzle sections to obstacle courses to boss fights, the action-adventure offers plenty of variety.
- You must play It Takes Two in co-op. There is no single-player mode. However, you can decide whether you want to play online or locally on a shared screen.

One buys, two play
Do both need to own the game? In the case of It Takes Two, only one of you needs to own the game. Even if you want to play online together instead of on the couch.
This is made possible by the so-called Friends Pass. The one of you who doesn’t have the full version of the game downloads it. This allows the owner of It Takes Two to invite the other into their game.
If you buy the game in the Steam Sale, your co-op partner will also need a Steam account for online play.
