Fortnite: Battle Royale (PC, PS4, iOS & Xbox One) currently has particularly interesting offers in the shop after the long downtime to patch 3.5 on April 13th. There are new outfits, skins, and a compensation for the long downtime on April 12th.
As always, new offers arrived today, April 13th, 2018, in the Fortnite shop. This time, the selection is particularly large. There are several skins and items in multiple versions and a few special offers.
Scrap Backpack as Compensation and Big Battle Pass Tier Boost
The highlights of the shop are clearly the free backpack and the battle pass boost. On April 12th, 2018, Fortnite was offline for almost the entire day. A critical database error shut down the game for many hours.
As compensation, there is already a stylish backpack in scrapyard style today. Not entirely free of self-irony, the description text refers to a “loose screw”. The backpack can be picked up for free by all players from the shop.
Not free but a real bargain: the battle pass tier boost. It costs 900 V-Bucks (around 9 Euros) and immediately credits you 10 tiers to your battle pass. Ideal if you otherwise wouldn’t be able to complete all items on the pass due to time constraints. After all, there’s only about 3 weeks left.
New Hacker Skins and All Skier Outfits Again!
However, the shop is still packed with cool items. Additionally, there is the new female skin “Hacker” (Cipher) for 1,200 V-Bucks (12 Euros) as well as the corresponding glider (5 Euros) and a pickaxe (8 Euros). Alternatively, the male version “Circuit Breaker” is also available. The new Hacker was recently revealed in data mining within the Fortnite code.
By the way, if you don’t have the cool skier skins for the 2018 Winter Olympics yet, you can purchase all of them again today individually. However, it seems there are only female versions available for 15 Euros each.
In addition to these skins, there are other offers in the shop:
- Skin “Love Ranger”: The legendary statue from Valentine’s Day is back (20 Euros).
- Harvesting Tool “Anchor Pickaxe”: This anchor-shaped pickaxe costs 1,500 V-Bucks (15 Euros).
- Dance Emote “Bel Air”: A cheerful epic dance for 800 V-Bucks (8 Euros).
- Emote “Make It Rain”: This extremely cool emote lets you throw cash. It costs 500 V-Bucks (5 Euros)
