A professional Counter-Strike: Global Offensive player was caught using an aimbot at a tournament. His rescue attempt was unfortunate and was filmed live. Now he and his team have been disqualified from the tournament.
What is it about? The CS:GO pro Nikhil “forsaken” Kumawat belongs to the clan OpTic India. They were together at the eXTREMESLAND Asia tournament playing Counter-Strike: Global Offensive.
Sudden tournament pause: The tournament was unexpectedly paused because the officials wanted to inspect Kumawat’s computer. During the inspection, cheats were found on the player’s computer, apparently an aimbot.

An aimbot is cheat software that automatically targets opponents appearing on the screen. Players therefore miss much less and are not reliant on their own reactions. It is clear that this violates the rules of fair competition.

The referees inspected forsaken’s computer during the tournament. As they were about to discover the software, the player apparently tried to cover it up and grabbed the keyboard. The officials had to ultimately restrain his arms.

Player is no longer with the team: After this controversial news, forsaken’s team, OpTic India, issued a statement. It states that they are clearly against cheats.
