Michael Jackson is currently one of the biggest topics in the community of Counter-Strike 2. Many players are reminded of the musician when they encounter opponents with a certain weapon and call it the “Michael Jackson” – aka “Smooth Criminal” – peek.
What is the Michael Jackson peek? In Counter-Strike 2, you can currently encounter other players who lean strangely to the side and take a very unnatural posture when running sideways with the AWP.
It looks like the player’s character is standing at an angle because the legs remain in the old position while the upper body continues to move. This strange posture reminds many players of the musician Michael Jackson, who assumed a similar posture in performances of the song “Smooth Criminal”.
Now, there are a variety of videos in the Counter-Strike community on Reddit showcasing the “Michael Jackson” peek – often with the appropriate musical accompaniment.

How do you use the “Michael Jackson” peek? To peek around corners like Michael Jackson, you need to have the AWP equipped. Then you need to run at full speed and then aim. That’s it.
