Crowfall developer ArtCraft has announced today that the throne war MMORPG will be published in this country by Travian Games. The publisher from Munich is said to fit the concept of the game best.
At the Munich publisher Travian Games, known for the namesake building game Travian and several other mobile and online titles like Rail Nation and Truck Nation, the mood is likely to be exceptionally good. Because the developers at ArtCraft have decided to distribute their upcoming MMO Crowfall via Travian Games in the future.
Thus, the company from Munich takes over the publication of Crowfall in Europe, Brazil, North Africa and the Middle East. The reason for this collaboration, according to Travian CEO Lars Janssen, is that they have understood each other very well with ArtCraft and even cultural similarities exist between the two teams.
The chemistry is good between the publisher and developer of Crowfall
Similarly optimistic are the developers at ArtCraft: “We received several offers to publish Crowfall in Europe, but Travian simply fits best with our corporate culture. Travian Games has an enormous reach with millions of players worldwide and at its heart is still a game developer,” says Gordon Walton, the head of ArtCraft from Texas.
Moreover, Travian Games already has experience in campaign-based games and Crowfall is supposed to be just such a title. In the throne war MMO realized via Kickstarter, players play for several months in a campaign and try to survive during this time with their heroes amid the turmoil of a throne war. As soon as a kingdom is conquered and the campaign ends, it continues with a new episode. By the way, the open beta test of Crowfall will start this winter.
