After Travian Games has already parted ways with the MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar, now Crowfall is next. The developers want to take care of the distribution of the online game in Europe themselves in the future.
What is Crowfall? Crowfall is an MMORPG with a special premise: you are essentially not in a persistent world, but travel in time-limited campaigns from one dying world to another to gather resources. You need these to continue building your eternal kingdom.
On the dying worlds, massive battles take place between players, including sieges.

Travian and Artcraft part ways
What did Travian Games have to do with Crowfall? In 2016, the German company Travian Games announced it had entered into a partnership with Artcraft Entertainment. Travian wanted to handle the marketing and distribution of the MMORPG Crowfall in Europe.
What has happened now? Artcraft announced that the partnership with Travian has ended. No reasons were given, but it is said to have been a decision made by mutual consent.
What does this mean for the MMORPG? Since June 13, Artcraft has been taking care of the distribution and marketing of the online game themselves. The players are likely to notice little of this. European players are now dealing with the support of the developer instead of Travian.
Why does this sound familiar? In November 2018, Portalarium and Travian announced the end of their partnership regarding the MMORPG Shroud of the Avatar. Travian also took over the distribution and support for SotA in Europe.

Players have many questions
What do the players think about this? There is already a lot of speculation about this decision in the official forum. What led to this? Some questions remain open.
Kraahk asked: “Can you tell us what this means for the localization of the game and the support for players who do not speak English?”
Belantis speculates: “Was Travian perhaps bothered by the long development time? Or did Artcraft not get enough money from Travian?”
According to Artcraft, nothing should change, as the studio has already been taking care of a lot. So this announcement apparently means no major adjustment for Crowfall fans.
