The new version 5.6 of the PvP MMORPG Crowfall finally introduces the vassal system, bringing a new dimension to group play.
Now it is possible to build a vast kingdom together with your friends. You assign specific tasks and rights to fellow players, allowing them to build structures, for example.
Many innovations with the current update
The vassal system is here. Through this system, it is possible to invite other players to your kingdom and assign them the status of a vassal. Depending on their rank, they have specific rights and can, for example, construct buildings on your land or delegate work to other players of lower rank. In this way, you can also create entire cities and establish marketplaces to sell goods to visitors of your kingdom using the seller system introduced last time.
A new map has been introduced. This is the map of one of the dying campaign worlds, where you gather resources to expand your Eternal Kingdom.
The skill system has been revamped. You gain (even passively while not logged into the game) skill points in various categories. Skills that are in this category can now be assigned points to improve them. It is not possible to improve skills that are not in the trained category.
First steps towards procedural world design. The developers no longer need to distribute resources manually; this is now done through a random system. This is the first step towards a procedural creation of the campaign worlds.
The AI has been improved. The AI of the monsters guarding the resources has been enhanced. This makes it harder to gather resources.
New races are playable. With the Fae and the male versions of the forest and high elves, you have more options when creating your character.
