It’s unfortunate when you want to test an MMORPG with as many players as possible, but then forget to remove the faction limit – as happened in the new MMORPG Crowfall. It has more testers than ever before, but the developer made a little “Oops.”
A New Record of Testers
More testers than ever before. With the recent update 5.6, numerous innovations were introduced to the upcoming MMO Crowfall. These changes finally allow you to expand the Eternal Kingdom together with friends. Group play is thus at the forefront. This has attracted many new testers who now hope to get a good impression of the game. Therefore, more players than ever wanted to test Crowfall.
Crowfall CEO Posts: Oops!
Testers want to play, but can’t. However, the developers forgot to adjust the faction limit in the game. This caused some limitations for the factions to be enforced, which were integrated into the game about a year ago. Since the number of players has now significantly increased, these limitations no longer make sense, which is why they needed to be adjusted. Designer Todd Coleman’s tweet does not reveal what these limitations are. However, the team had to make some adjustments due to the many testers and raise the limitations.
Crowfall is getting a soft launch. If you’re waiting to find the perfect moment to play Crowfall, you should think carefully. Because the MMORPG will not receive a regular release, but a soft launch. The game will be constantly developed, so everyone must decide when to jump in.
Crowfall could be seen as a mix of EVE Online and Game of Thrones.
