In China, ChuKong is working on a game heavily inspired by the successful series “Game of Thrones”. “Ice and Fire Online” is supposed to be a 3D fantasy RPG.
Blizzard sues at least twice a year against a plagiarism of their games from China. We do not want to imply anything, but that is the first thought we had when we saw this news from Asia. ChuKong is developing a game heavily “inspired” by Game of Thrones. It takes place in Westeros, where 7 families vie for power.
The player can choose between a “Barbarian”, a melee fighter from the Dothraki. Or they can play a witch from House Targaryen or choose a member of the Night Watch, and thus opt for an assassin class. The game is currently in closed beta and is likely intended for Android devices.
The Night Watch as an assassin, Daenerys as a witch: At first glance, it doesn’t look like George R.R. Martin approved this.
