What kind of shooter is this? In 2019, Microsoft announced that they would bring the shooter Crossfire X to us. It was already considered “the biggest shooter in Asia” at that time. Since the announcement, the release has already been postponed. However, new multiplayer scenes were presented at gamescom 2021.

Multiplayer Trailer for Crossfire X – What’s in it?
This was shown: During the Opening Night Live of gamescom 2021, the Microsoft team showcased a new trailer for Crossfire X.
The focus of the new video is on the game’s multiplayer modes. It starts right away with a group of soldiers and explosions.
Then it involves Transportship – likely one of the maps of Crossfire X. A group fights their way forward on a ship while being shot at from the air.
Black Widow resembles a house fight similar to “Italy” or “Inferno” in Counter-Strike.
GR Tower plays on multiple floors of a high-rise building. Explosions can kick you out of the floors. You then choose the easier and healthier exit with the zip lines.
Laboratory and Invasion showcase gameplay scenes related to stealth. Soldiers are camouflaged as ghosts or sneak attack from behind.
Submarine, likely an underwater level with minimal swimming, is presumably set on a submarine.
In Babylon-Lab, you apparently deal with monstrosities. The “normal” Babylon, on the other hand, involves mechs, grenades, and helicopters. Classic military shooter feeling.
And then there’s the Boogieman. He is apparently super powerful and can take on multiple armed soldiers at once.
What do we know about Crossfire X?
When is the release? It is unclear when the release of Crossfire X is. In November 2020, the release was postponed from Q4 2020 to the year 2021. There is no official exact release plan. In the last business report, the developer studio Remedy mentioned that they expect a release in 2021 (via remedygames.com).
In its home country, Crossfire X had to shut down. Although the shooter was very successful, it was primarily in China. Why Crossfire X had to shut down despite its popularity.
