If you’re looking for an action-adventure with a large open world, where you can likely spend hundreds of hours in the coming weeks and months, you should find it in Crimson Desert. Estimates currently range from around 50 hours (focusing on the main story) to 200+ hours (100 percent completion).
According to the developers, the continent of Pywel is supposed to be twice as large as the playable open world of Skyrim (about 37 km²) and also larger than the map of Red Dead Redemption 2 (about 75 km²). Some statistics from the game sound almost intimidating. For example, there are supposed to be 75 bosses, 110 factions, and 173 different regions.
