Developer Pearl Abyss has revealed the system requirements for the new action game Crimson Desert on Steam. The good news first: A high-end system is not a must if you want to play the action game in a few weeks.
However: You will need plenty of space on your hard drive or SSD to play it at all.

What hardware do I need: Crimson Desert does not require a high-end PC if you want to play the game via Steam. With the most popular graphics card on Steam according to the Hardware Survey, the RTX 4060, you shouldn’t have major issues. The same applies to the processor.
What you will need, however, is plenty of space: Crimson Desert requires 135 GB of free storage space and that is quite a lot. An SSD is also recommended by the developers. Generally, you can probably install the game on a hard drive (HDD), but you will experience noticeably longer loading times.

Where else can you play Crimson Desert? Crimson Desert is set to release simultaneously for Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S, MacOS, GeForce Now, and PC. This means you can alternatively play Crimson Desert on the PS5 if your computer is not fast enough.
Alternatively, you can purchase Crimson Desert via Steam and then stream it through GeForce Now – provided you have a sufficiently fast internet connection.
Does Crimson Desert also run on the Steam Deck? Officially, there is still no information on whether the game will be verified for the Steam Deck or at least run on it.
