This is reported to result in revenue of over 20 million euros, just on Steam. Sales on PS5, Xbox, Epic Games, and GeForce Now are still to come on top of that.
But that’s not all. Most players are reportedly still waiting. About 2.2 million players have the title on their wishlist on Steam and are likely waiting for the first reviews before purchasing.
Who does Crimson Desert appeal to? It is also interesting to see who Crimson Desert actually appeals to. The analysts from Alinea Analytics mention three titles and indicate whether players have Crimson Desert on their wishlist and what they have already played.
The largest overlap is likely with The Witcher 3 and Crimson Desert, as according to analysts, 62% of all players who have Crimson Desert on their wishlist have played that. Elden Ring also has a high correlation with 44%.
