Key Feature 2: Exploring the Game World
During your adventure, you will traverse the continent of Pywel, which consists of the 5 regions Hernand, Pailune, Demeniss, Delesyia, and the namesake Crimson Desert. While the main story takes you through all these areas, you will uncover only a small part of the more than 570 territories.
Especially when it comes to finding the distributed platforms for fast travel, merchants, or side quests for inventory expansions, your focus will turn to exploring the game world.
Fortunately, you will receive a horse as a mount very early in the game, along with a skill that allows you to glide in the air. Additional skills and mounts further enhance your mobility, until you are eventually flying through the skies on the back of a dragon. On the ground, a parkour system helps you to navigate obstacles and climb mountains.
Anyone wanting to see all the content from Crimson Desert, conquer all challenges, and complete achievements must explore every nook and cranny of the vast game world. Current estimates suggest that you will easily need 150 to 200 hours in Pywel to do so. More about this here: Playtime – How much content is in the action-adventure Crimson Desert?
