What is a clan in Diablo 4? A clan in Diablo 4 is a feature that allows you to join a group of players. This group can match your preferences, enabling you to meet like-minded individuals who are interested in quests, dungeons, or simply exploring Sanctuary.
You don’t necessarily have to play with them, but it gives you the chance to team up more easily with players like yourself. Now we will show you how you can create a clan too.

How to create a clan in Diablo 4
Every player, regardless of their level, can create a clan. Here’s how:
- Open your map
- Switch to the “Clan” tab
- Now you can choose between “Join Clan” or “Create Clan”
- Now select “Create Clan”
- A window will open where you can input various details such as:
- Clan name
- Clan abbreviation
- Description
- Language
- Tagging

Now you confirm your clan. This will be created automatically. You will then have the opportunity to customize many details and refine your clan.
You can customize your clan banner, set who can see your clan, invite players, and determine who can write daily news and process applications. As the leader, you have full control over your clan.
On top of that, you can promote players you have recruited to help you manage your clan.
Are there advantages in a clan? In Diablo 4, clans only have one advantage, which is bringing players together. You do not receive extra loot or XP when you join a clan. Despite this, a clan might be worthwhile. You can meet like-minded people or find players faster to take advantage of the XP group bonus.
