The sandbox game MisBits has been playable on Steam for several weeks now. The developers have decided to make the title free-to-play. On April 4th, MisBits will be Free-to-Play. We will show you what it’s all about.
What is MisBits? MisBits is a kind of game collection or sandbox game. You control heads that can take on special toys to progress through the various levels.
In MisBits, you can do pretty much anything you want. There are several game modes available for you.
The modes in MisBits: The standard modes include a (team) deathmatch and Kick Brawl. Deathmatch is a classic game mode where you hit each other with crazy weapons like cucumbers and the player with the most points wins. Kick Brawl is a somewhat modified version of Rocket League.
For a more freeform play experience, there is the Playhouse. It’s a huge playroom where various mini-games with leaderboards await. Compete here with friends or other players to measure up and reach the top spot.
If that doesn’t appeal to you, there is the Arcade, where you can find games created by players and developers. Here you can find puzzles, races, platformers, and more – everything anyone has ever thought of.
A new update also introduced the Toy Box. This allows you to build your own worlds, levels, and modes almost like in Minecraft’s creative mode – however you like. A bit more insight into the game is provided by the video from our colleagues at GameStar:
When and where can I play it? MisBits was released on Steam on March 5th and will be free to play starting Saturday, April 4th. However, you can already play it now if you want.
The title is available for €12.49 on Steam. Here is the link to the Steam page for MisBits.
Currently, MisBits is only available for PC. Versions for PS4 and Xbox One are in the works, but the developers are currently focused on the PC version.
Bonuses for buyers: If you purchase MisBits before April 4th, you will receive a Buddy Pass, allowing you to invite a friend to play before it becomes free-to-play. Additionally, there are some bonuses worth about $30:
- Exclusive head: Diablo
- Limited head: Shadow
- Limited skin: Tiki
- In-game currency worth $15
We have already played MisBits and believe: If more of you play it, it will be a real hit. Especially right now, as many people are stuck in their homes and going outside less often, new games and free-to-play games are a great way to pass the time.
