The public still does not know when the release of GTA 6 is. Nevertheless, a YouTube channel has now started a crazy marathon and is driving in GTA 5 in circles until the release. No matter when that is.
What kind of marathon is this? A livestream of GTA 5 is currently running under the title “Driving around the map of GTA 5 until the release of GTA 6 (world record)”. The broadcast started on October 5 and has been active for about 16 days now.
In the stream, you see a car, presumably Michael’s private vehicle, going around the map in singleplayer. Up to this point (October 21, 12:40 PM), 907 laps have already been completed. So far, over 2800 viewers have given this broadcast a “thumbs up”.

You can find out in the stream chat using chat commands how long the marathon has been active and how many laps have already been successfully completed.
How long will the marathon remain active? As announced, the Audi should continue to race around the map until the release of GTA 6. When that will be is unclear. In the video description, the YouTube channel assumes that the timeframe is still at least 365 days away. Until then, the car should still complete a few thousand laps.
What do we know about GTA 6? So far, Rockstar Games has not officially announced the game. But after San Andreas and GTA 5, players are sure that it is only a matter of time before the announcement for the release of Grand Theft Auto 6 appears.
At this point, several rumors about the new, unannounced part are already circulating. One source claims to know that GTA 6 supposedly comes out in 2022 and features a woman in the lead role.
Another clue for GTA 6 is a snippet from the resume of an artist. He had briefly stated there, that he worked on cars for GTA 6.
Moreover, the new installment is supposedly not going to be available on PS4 and Xbox One. A leak says that GTA 6 will be released for PS5 and Xbox Scarlett.
