In Fallout 76 there are some bugs and glitches that still need to be fixed. Now a new game error has appeared that suddenly spawns numerous Robotrons and Mr. Handys.
Fallout 76 has been available since November 14. The technical condition of the game has been criticized since then, as there are both funny and less amusing bugs and glitches. For example, there was a bug where a player accidentally activated a sort of god mode and could no longer die.
Now another glitch has appeared. An author from pcgamer.com has encountered a glitch during his explorations in the world of Fallout 76. This glitch suddenly causes a lot of robots to appear in the game world.
Invasion of the Robots in West Virginia?
What happened? The glitch occurred in the Whitespring Bunker. This is the virtual version of the Greenbrier Resort. It is a hotel that also exists in the real world. Below it lies, both in the game and in reality, a bunker, which former US President Eisenhower had secretly built.
The player wanted to take some screenshots. It shouldn’t take long, but suddenly he encountered the error. Suddenly, an extremely large number of Robotrons and Mr. Handys appeared in and around the Whitespring Bunker.
Normally, there are only a handful of robots in the bunker that belonged to the former staff. Now a whole army was running around and through the bunker.
Does the glitch also affect the vendor bot? Disappointed, the player had to realize that only normal NPC robots were duplicated. The vendor bot was still only present once in the bunker. Outside, the robot army was apparently alerted by some ghouls. They were overwhelmed by the sheer mass of Robotrons. But not only the ghouls suffered from the enormous number of robots. The game’s performance and the server also struggled to handle the large number of suddenly spawning bots.
Can the glitch be reproduced? It is not clear how exactly the glitch occurred. Thus, it is also not known how to unleash the robot army on ghouls and the server again.
