In the Call of Duty: Warzone, it’s usually the smallest decisions in the endgame that determine whether you secure a victory or just have a “good game.” One player did everything right in the end and is celebrated by thousands for his 12vs1 gameplay.
What happened? A victory in Call of Duty: Warzone is something very special for many players. You fight your way through the dangerous city of Verdansk for nearly half an hour, and at every corner, on every rooftop, death could be lurking.
And even if you survive most of the match unscathed – in the final, the endgame, the pace of the game usually changes drastically and separates the wheat from the chaff with brutal force.
The player “AceofSpadess” has now shown how to approach the endgame correctly. In a trio match, he was the last remaining member of his team and faced a 12vs1 overwhelming force in the harbor area. But from the roof of the Vacant building, he launched his furious gameplay, secured the victory, and even got 7 kills. MeinMMO shows you how he did it.
2 minutes of action – Warzoner plays a furious finale
How does it look? The player posted his video of the action on reddit under the name “aceofspade4612,” which we embed here:
In the nearly 2-minute video, the player does almost everything right. He takes 7 kills from the 12 enemies and can celebrate a truly fantastic victory in the end.
How did he do that? The gameplay reveals essentially 3 factors that led to his victory:
- His stable MP7
- Appropriate flanking maneuvers along with the perk “Alarmed”
- A good dose of luck
Thanks to his very stable submachine gun, he can pressure the enemies even at longer distances, has a high ADS speed, and space for a sniper rifle as a secondary weapon. If you’re looking for such an MP7 setup, check it out here. This keeps him very flexible and allows him to switch to his Kar 98k if needed to deliver painful longshots.
Moreover, he manages to flank his enemies almost always from the side, avoiding unpleasant surprises with the help of the “Alarmed” perk. This perk gives him a visual signal when an enemy is looking at him from a direction he is not facing. He chooses smart paths that he secures with this perk.
You can see this particularly well after he crosses the street and fights behind the house between the wooden crate and the trash container. He sees a team that is also under pressure from another side and realizes that he can apply pressure himself. Instead of running between the two barricades, he runs over the wooden crate. This means that he has less cover from the front, but reaches the other side faster, which protects him from attacks from behind. When he is standing on the crate, the “Alarmed” perk triggers and alerts him about enemies behind.
If he had run through the cover, the enemy probably would have finished him off. Instead, he only takes a few shots as he switches sides again. He had this perk, by the way, because he picked up the specialist item during the round.
In the end, however, a good portion of luck was also involved. The enemy teams were very focused on themselves, and he managed to slip through the uncovered zones as an inconspicuous solo player. Even his uncovered switch of the street could have led to his downfall. Also, in the fight against the last two players, when he briefly stands on the street in front of the house, he should have actually lost. But luck and the misfortune of others sometimes play a role in securing a huge victory in the Battle Royale Warzone.
What do the viewers say about it? The thread on reddit has nearly 6,600 upvotes with almost 400 comments (December 14, 10 AM). Most congratulate the player and express their admiration for the strong gameplay video:
- Wingwingwingwinghelo: “Such clips always make me want to play again, and then I get wrecked. Good stuff!”
