In Destiny 2, the Ultis always have specific roles. Some are responsible for damage, others for protection. Now, a clip has surfaced where a Titan redefines new ways to use his Super. We at MeinMMO show you what happened.
Which Super is it? In this clip, it is the Thundercrash Super of the Titan. With this power, one notoriously flies towards opponents like Superman and delivers a destructive punch. However, this Titan has now, due to a mistake, used his Super for other purposes.
The Superman and his Rescue Flight
In this clip, the Titan is in the strike “The Twisted Column“. After he has gone to a drilling platform, he knocked out a Centurion and overlooked that the jumping platform was not activated.
Confident and without doubt, he ran through the thrust ring. At that moment, he realized that he had only one option available. He activated his Super and flew the entire distance just like Superman.
Lucky in misfortune, one might think, as the gate for further progression was still blocked. After a magnificent flight and some desperate jumps, the Titan was able to survive.
What is the Super good for? The Super is a true kill machine as it can cover large distances and cause area damage. But not only that, with the exotic chest piece “Gleaming Guardian“, the damage can be significantly increased. You can use it as a boss killer or, as shown here, as a rescue measure.
Can you do this with other Ultis as well? Of course, other classes can also perform such rescue actions. The Hunter, for example, can shoot multiple arrows in the air with his Void Bow. If done at the right time and with some momentum, one can stay in the air for some time before falling down.
The Warlock, on the other hand, is luckier, as his Super with the “Dawnblade” lets him float like a phoenix. With his dashes during the flight, he can even determine the direction.
