Vehicles in Call of Duty: Warzone are among the strongest weapons, as they take out your enemy with a ‘hit’. However, in a vehicle vs. vehicle fight, things look a bit different. When cars collide, there is usually a shower of sparks – the vehicles don’t really take much damage.
But there is a way you can still destroy your enemy’s vehicle in a metal fight between two cars. A clip on reddit first shows the battle between two derby drivers and ends with a shining winner, who probably remembered the racing game ‘Burnout’ to sweep his opponent off the map.
Driving lessons for wanted targets
What did it look like? The clip on reddit from user “tip-Z” shows 30 seconds full of vehicle action in Warzone:
What can be seen? tip-Z drives toward an SUV in a Warzone rover in the northeast of Verdansk. Both vehicles are occupied by only one player, and it is clear from the outset: tip-Z wants to annihilate his opponent.
As a spice for the stress level, both drivers have activated a ‘Most Wanted’ contract, marking them with a crown symbol for all players on the map. When time runs out, fallen team members come back into the match. tip-Z still has one living teammate, but two others are waiting for rescue.
With the safety of a second teammate on the other side of the map, tip-Z attacks the rewarding target. At this point, it looks like the race could still run through half of Verdansk. But tip-Z sees an interesting opportunity somewhere between ramming and camera correction: a hill next to the road that serves excellently as a ramp.
tip-Z swerves to the right, drives over the ramp back onto the road, and takes out the enemy SUV with a touch on the roof. The opposing vehicle flies directly into the air, leaving tip-Z with a few useful weapons for the rest of his own ‘Most Wanted’ contract.
The rover has also taken a good amount of damage, but the winner of the duel is clear.
