In Fortnite: Battle Royale have players found a curious hint about the upcoming map changes and possibly Season 7. And that is in the rifts. A castle is said to be visible there.
What is the deal with the rifts? There are still rifts in Fortnite Rifts. They came into the game with Season 5 and teleport you to the sky, where you can then glide again.
What is much more interesting: The rifts seem to provide an important hint about the next map change in Fortnite. If you take a close look at the rifts, the isolated rift in the research bunker under Wailing Woods is particularly suitable for this, you can recognize a castle with a little imagination.
It seems to be some kind of castle with walls and small towers. Also, the whole scenery is somehow “frozen”, as if winter is prevailing there.
Hint about Season 7 and Christmas?
Is the castle coming in Season 7? According to many theories, Season 7 will have Christmas or at least winter as a theme. Therefore, many players believe in a Christmas map that is decorated with ice and snow. The frost tracks on the new skin A.I.M are already a small hint. An icy castle would fit in well there too.
No castle, but a hill with trees? Other players, like YouTuber Postboxpat, do not believe in the castle. For him, the silhouette shown in the rift is more a hill with a certain number of trees on it.
Hint about the next map change? This place, according to Postboxpat, is the location where something big is supposed to happen soon. Because after the cube in the butterfly event has probably finally torn apart, Epic must soon deliver something even more massive.
