The next game-breaking glitch in The Division 2 is out. This time, the cheaters don’t even have to be in missions anymore; they can simply defeat the same enemy over and over again.
Huh? What glitch is this again? Since the launch of the major expansion “Warlords of New York” at the beginning of March, a DPS glitch has been circulating in the community. The unscheduled maintenance yesterday, on March 26, was supposed to address this issue, but instead a new, even nastier glitch has appeared.
Some players are exploiting the bug to collect a ton of loot by defeating a powerful enemy many times, which drops a nice pile of gear upon each death.

What are agents achieving with this? The time needed to obtain the desired items is significantly reduced.
Since this glitch can be used on enemies that roam the open world, cheaters can take advantage of loot targeting and specifically collect their desired gear, such as the strongest items for damage builds.
How does this work approximately? Currently, it is very easy to revive a strong enemy. They then stand back up with 1 health and can be quickly taken down with a single melee attack.
This can be repeated indefinitely, and each time the elite enemy drops their entire loot again. In short: This allows players to farm a lot of high-quality loot quickly, like from a fully loaded gift table at a children’s birthday party.
Should I try this too? Just like with the DPS glitch, players should be cautious with such actions. While not much is known about bans so far, it is possible that Massive will not tolerate this behavior for long and will start banning player accounts on a large scale. It remains to be seen how the situation will develop.
Are the developers doing something about it? In the “State of the Game” from March 25, the developers confirmed that glitches that undermine the gear game of Division 2 are a top priority.
