Metal Gear Survive is an upcoming coop shooter from the Metal Gear series. In it, you rebuild your base and fight as a team with up to three players against strange zombies in a parallel world. The goal is to outmaneuver the zombies and hold them off with obstacles long enough.
The game will soon start its 2nd beta, this time also for the first time for PC via Steam.

Good game or money grab? Metal Gear Survive still controversial
Metal Gear Survive is the first game in the Metal Gear series created without the legendary creator Hideo Kojima. Hence the strange plot of the game, where soldiers fight against incredibly stupid zombies in a parallel world.
This does not sit well with many players and fans of the series. They fear that now, since Kojima can no longer hold back the publisher, Metal Gear Survive will become a soulless cash grab by Konami. The good name of the Metal Gear series will be tarnished to market a silly zombie shooter.
Whether this is really the case or whether Metal Gear Survive turns out to be a good game in the end, you can check for yourself in the beta on February 16.
