For jacksfilms, all boundaries have been crossed: He demands her ban.
Which YouTuber is being referred to?
- In the German-speaking area, she is relatively unknown, but SSSniperWolf is a massive YouTuber with 34.2 million subscribers. According to various lists, no woman on YouTube has more subscribers than she does. Her name may sound reminiscent of the Nazi era to German viewers, but it is derived from the much more harmless “sexysexysniper”
- The YouTuber is 30 years old, started with gameplay videos of Call of Duty, but is now known for her reaction videos: The videos with typical “YouTuber looking surprised/scared/disgusted” thumbnails garner millions of views. She is also big on platforms like Instagram or TikTok.
- Many of her videos have typical “Click” themes and are between 9 and 15 minutes long. Current videos are titled something like “TikToks that are ONLY for Boys” or “TikToks that are ONLY for Girls”.

This is the criticism: The significantly smaller, but still huge YouTuber jackflims (4.88 million subscribers) has repeatedly engaged with SSSniperWolf over the last 3 months: Of the 8 videos he uploaded during this time, 5 were about the YouTuber. These videos also achieve significantly higher view counts than other content on his channel.
He views the YouTuber’s reaction videos as “content theft” because she does not do enough to give her reaction videos a personal touch: Her content is not “transformative,” adding too little to the videos she reacts to.
In this way, he sees the actual creators of the content robbed of their fair reward.

How does SSSniperWolf feel about this? She feels overwhelmed by the criticism now, believes the YouTuber is doing nothing but criticize her and has ulterior profit motives: He is making money at her expense.
On Instagram, where she has 6 million followers, she has already spoken several times about jackfilms. For instance, she asked her followers whether she should visit him – he lives only 5 minutes away.
She writes that this “creep” has harassed her for months and is forcing himself into a victim role, while she just wants to talk to him.

This is how the dispute has now escalated. As jackfilms says, SSSniperwolf has now really shown up in front of his house and broadcast the house to her millions of Instagram followers, posting: “Let’s talk like adults.”
He and his wife now feel “less secure.” He only exercises constructive criticism towards the person, while she now seems to want to use her followers to intimidate him.
For jackfilms, a boundary has been crossed here. He calls on YouTube and Instagram to ban SSSniperWolf. He feels unsafe in his home. No one should be allowed to use their internet fame to intimidate someone like this.
If her behavior goes unpunished, it sets a terrible precedent: One could intimidate and harass their critics as long as one has enough followers. That cannot be allowed.
If she really wanted to talk to him, she would have had numerous other options.
