In Conan Exiles, players on Xbox One will have to wait longer before starting the survival MMO. The schedule has been pushed back, and the release on Xbox One is delayed.
It was already hinted at during the recent investor conference, and now there is confirmation. Conan Exiles will NOT go into the “Preview Program” on Xbox One this spring, but rather in the summer. The launch into quasi-early access on Xbox One has been postponed to the 3rd quarter of 2017. This includes the summer months of July, August, and September. Previously, it was stated that Conan Exiles would come to Xbox One in spring 2017, that is, in the 2nd quarter of 2017.
Funcom does not provide reasons why it will take a bit longer.
The plan is for Conan Exiles to stay in Early Access for a maximum of one year. A full release on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 is scheduled for the 1st quarter of 2018.
Funcom told investors that Conan Exiles is performing so well that they wish to increase the budget. Funcom believes that the barbarian spectacle has the potential to become a top-10 survival game.
