At the beginning of an (MMO)RPG is the creation of a hero. This is no different in the upcoming survival role-playing game Conan Exiles. However, this works in a slightly different way than you might be used to from other role-playing games. You are not a shining hero, but a criminal who is crucified for your criminal activities. And it is precisely these crimes that determine what kind of character you play.
It is a cross with the cross
The event begins with your crucifixion. The character hangs on the cross, and at first, you can determine their appearance. Do you want to play a female or male hero? What hair color do they have? What is their physique? Finally, you also adjust their face. But then it gets a bit curious. Because you are not crucified for no reason. Dangerous creatures or other players lurking everywhere who want to kill you. Therefore, you need to look around well and provide not only food and water but also tools and weapons. Additionally, you need a safe shelter that you continuously expand with resources and better tools.
While searching for raw materials, food, and water, you will also discover ancient ruins of long-forgotten civilizations. Over time, you will learn more about the background story of the land you are in. Conan Exiles will enter early access on January 31, 2017, for PC. Owners of an Xbox One will have to wait until spring.
