Funcom has now introduced a game in the Conan universe. Conan Exiles sounds like the survival hit Ark. It is also set to be released for consoles.

Funcom previously focused on MMORPGs like Anarchy Online, Age of Conan, or The Secret World. Then it faced financial difficulties and planned a change in direction. The Norwegian developer now wants to release games every year, both smaller and larger, and build on the licenses it has. In 2016, three games are set to be released.
After “The Park” last year, which referenced the “The Secret World” franchise, it is focusing on Conan in 2016. They also hold the rights to that.
Now they are introducing “Conan Exiles”. It is set to be an “Open World Survival” game and will be released this summer. It will support both single-player and multiplayer.

It is being developed for PC and consoles (which typically means Xbox One and Playstation 4 today, although that is not explicitly stated).
On PC, it is expected to be released this summer as an Early Access title, with a full release to follow “later” on PC and consoles. Conan Exiles will support both private and public servers.
More information than the video description and the accompanying video is currently not available.
Mein MMO thinks: All in all, it sounds quite similar to Ark Survival Evolved, the summer hit of 2015. With “The Park”, Funcom had already created the impression of jumping on a currently popular trend to become “as viral as possible for the least cost” – apparently, they have taken a liking to that.
