Conan Exiles received a huge new patch on February 15 that was supposed to improve many aspects. However, the update also made some things worse! Much worse!
Conan Exiles, the barbarian survival MMO from Funcom, is in Early Access and far from finished. Therefore, numerous bugs plague the game, for example, when the gods decide to summon an outrageously expensive Tier-2 altar and make it disappear. Or arrows that fly randomly in any direction.
All these issues were supposed to be resolved by the patch on February 15.
Conan Exiles Patch – Drought in Hyboria
The huge patch was quickly and promptly deployed to the servers, but unfortunately, while it seems to have fixed some issues, it has also created entirely new ones. For instance, a striking number of players on Twitter and Steam are complaining that they can no longer fill their water bags in lakes and rivers.
Some players even claim that drinking is completely impossible and that their barbarian is dying of thirst due to the water issues. Other players lament the loss of buildings, and some claim that they can no longer see where they place a building part. Still, others are saying that their bows aren’t working at all now.
Oh no, a penis!
The most curious problem was posted by a player on Steam: “After the download, my female dancer became a naked man!” The horror! Let’s hope that Funcom reacts quickly and addresses the issues with a hotfix.
Considering how quickly the Norwegians have been working on improvements for the game, this could happen soon. Hopefully!
Jürgen says: I just checked in Conan Exiles and was able to place building parts without any issues. However, water is also a problem for me. I can’t fill my bottles and drinking from rivers only works after many attempts. Also, I now miss my tannery along with all the leather I stored there. Naked men haven’t appeared for me either.
But oh well, Conan is still in Early Access and Funcom is diligently trying to fix bugs, so I’m willing to overlook such things.
