The Early Access phase of the survival MMORPG Conan Exiles was supposed to start this September. However, this will not happen.
Not long ago, September 13 was announced as the start of the Early Access phase of Conan Exiles. But suddenly, the developer studio Funcom shifts and postpones the start to next year.
The game is supposed to get better
The developers explain that since the announcement of the Early Access start on June 9, they have taken a closer look at the game. They have also received a lot of feedback about the game and the expectations of the fans are immensely high. Therefore, they have decided to spend a little more time creating a true Conan experience so that fans can really play the game in the Early Access phase that they wish for and that they deserve.
Additionally, they have received further financial resources that they can now use to improve the game. The financial situation of Funcom has stabilized now, and they can manage the money more flexibly. The additional funds and development time are meant to ultimately lead to a better game being created.
A little more patience
The Early Access phase of Conan Exiles will now begin in January 2017, with an exact date to be announced later. All barbarians sharpening their axes will have to wait a little longer before they can plunge into the world of Conan the Barbarian.
