ZeniMax, the creators of the MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online, recently sought new developers for another project. We learned more about it at the E3 2019.
The Bethesda press conference at E3 2019 had some surprises in store. After ESO presented its new DLCs for 2019, Studio Director Matt Firor promised information about the next game from the studio. They were recently looking for a number of developers and many players wondered if it would be a new MMO.
This is definitely not the case. At least not for the current announcement at E3 2019 from ZeniMax.
Colorful Cartoon Mobile Game instead of MMORPG
What kind of game is ZeniMax developing? Anyone expecting a new ESO will initially rub their eyes in disbelief. The new ZeniMax game is a mobile game called Commander Keen. This IP comes from id Software from the 90s.
The game is now back as a cute, colorful jump-n-run game where you embody the twins Billy and Billie and experience intergalactic adventures.
When is Commander Keen coming out? According to the stream at E3 2019, the soft launch of Commander Keen will take place in summer 2019. The game will be released for the platforms Android and iOS.
