The Oden is one of the weapons in Call of Duty: Warzone that is used rather infrequently. However, a YouTuber found a setup that makes it very powerful. MeinMMO shows you how to recreate the build.
What kind of build is this? The strong Oden build allows you to take down entire enemy squads at long distances with the assault rifle, even though you have to work with a smaller magazine.
The build aims to stretch enemies to the ground with few and slow shots and requires relatively good precision. It focuses entirely on damage and range while neglecting mobility.
In terms of effectiveness, it lies somewhere between DMRs and assault rifles. YouTuber jackfrags uses this build to kill enemies one by one, sometimes surprising them so much that they cannot even defend themselves.
Despite the fact that the Oden ranks 4th in the comparison of all assault rifles for Warzone , hardly anyone uses it. The main reason is its low rate of fire and consequently relatively high TTK. However, jackfrags’ build turns it into a real monster.

The “Max Damage” build for the Oden
Here is how to recreate it: For the build, you need five attachments at the gunsmith. Equip the following slots:
- Muzzle: Suppressor (Colossus)
- Barrel: Oden Factory 810mm
- Laser: 5mW Laser
- Optic: VLK 3.0x Scope
- Underbarrel: Merc Foregrip
You will only obtain the suppressor and the optic relatively late with the weapon at higher levels. You don’t necessarily need the optic, and a smaller optic works as a stopgap. However, the suppressor is quite important. Substitute the suppressor with the patterned grip tape (Grip) until you unlock it.
By the way, the Oden has the highest damage among all automatic weapons in Warzone according to the stats, but due to its sluggish playstyle, it is hardly used. This build, however, maximizes its advantages to the point where it is really worthwhile.
These are the strengths of the build: Since the build focuses entirely on damage and range, you can easily kill players even at longer distances without them being able to counter you. You can take them out with just a few bullets.

What are the weaknesses? The weaknesses become apparent at very long distances (against sniper rifles) and at very short distances. While the laser helps when storming a house, you should rather opt for other weapons.

You also need relatively good aim as you have limited shots available, and the recoil of the Oden is quite strong.
