In Call of Duty: Warzone starts soon the Halloween event “The Haunting of Verdansk” (The Haunting of Verdansk). In the spirit of Trick or Treat, there are at various 16 locations on the map supply boxes that can reward you with cosmetics like skins, sprays, and watches. At the end, the exclusive Pumpkin Punisher weapon blueprint awaits you. We will show you where to look.
What is it about? The Halloween event in Call of Duty: Warzone is currently a hot topic in the community. You can play as famous horror characters like Leatherface or Billy The Puppet from SAW (if you buy them), and new modes, a night map, zombies, and more are coming.
As a challenge for you, the developers hid special supply boxes at 16 locations on Verdansk. Don’t worry, they have nothing to do with microtransactions. As you explore the map and find the boxes, unique rewards await you, which we will show you here. There are weapon blueprints and also spooky surprises to find.
Why should you search for them? Those who find all 16 unique rewards will receive a legendary weapon blueprint for assault rifles. The Pumpkin Punisher.
The Halloween event runs from October 20 to November 3.
Locations of Trick or Treat in Warzone
What you should keep in mind: There is no guarantee that a box with unique loot will reward you. In every area you visit, there is a chance that a Trick-or-Treat box will spawn there.
If you’re unlucky, the box has no reward, but a “trick”. This is meant to be an experience that scares you. The developers confirm, however, that it won’t harm you in the game.
You can only find the boxes in active matches. You can see your progress in the game on the Tac map or in the Warzone menu under the “Halloween event” tab. There you will also find a map with the locations. If you have successfully searched a location, the name will be checked off in the overview.
Tips for finding:
- The boxes make noises, which makes them easier to locate
- Anyone who knows the spawns of the legendary supply boxes in the mentioned areas will probably have an idea of where the spooky boxes are – those are probably the same spawn points
- Look for campers who may be lurking near the boxes waiting for victims
- You can find the boxes in all Warzone game modes. From the usual Battle Royale to Zombie Royale, to Plunder
- Bring a shotgun – Most boxes spawn in buildings – 3 strong JAK-12 loadouts can be found here
