How does the Welgun play? The small weapon is fast and provides great values for mobility. However, you are not as good in terms of Time-to-Kill as with the Owen Gun, but you are still among the top.
The Welgun can be compared to the OTs 9 from Cold War. Both come with 40-round magazines, represent a lot of mobility, and have a range of nearly 10 meters for the first and strongest damage area with meta setups.
