Observant players discovered in the new trailer a hint that you could soon be heading out in Call of Duty: Warzone in larger teams than before.
Season 5 is just around the corner: In Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and CoD: Warzone, Season 5 will begin shortly. There was also the associated trailer that gives a first look at the numerous new features and content of Season 5. And it was in this trailer that observant fans discovered an exciting detail.
Hint of larger squads found in Warzone: Some fans have keenly spotted a helicopter flying over the now open stadium. What you barely notice while watching the fast-paced, action-packed trailer: in this helicopter were 5 players – a first in Warzone.
So far, the Battle Royale only offers modes for one, two, three or at most 4 players in a team. Many are now convinced that in Season 5 we will soon be able to head out as a 5-man squad.
Is a 200-player mode for 5-man teams coming? How this will be implemented is still unknown – assuming 5-man teams are truly coming to the game.
However, the larger squads are anything but implausible or far-fetched. Back in March, co-studio head of Infinity Ward, Patrick Kelly, teased a 200-player mode with 5-man squads in Warzone. They had already experimented with such a format, he said. So it is quite possible that this mode will indeed come into play in Season 5.
This will also come in Season 5: Players should not have to wait too long for a possible confirmation. At the latest with the launch of the new season, there should be the traditional roadmap outlining the key dates, content, and features of Season 5. Such a mode is very likely to be included in this roadmap.
And already in the run-up to the launch of Season 5, Infinity Ward has revealed some new details:

So there has already been a glimpse at a new faction, the Shadow Company, along with corresponding new operators. Also, 2 new weapons that will expand your arsenal in the new Season 5 are basically already confirmed.
