What new weapons are there in Season 3? From May 25, Season 3 will run in Call of Duty: Warzone and there will be new weapons for the free battle royale:
- M1916 – DMR at the start of the season
- Nikita AVT – Assault rifle at the start of the season
- Sledgehammer – Melee weapon during the season
- H4 Blixen – Submachine gun with the Mid-Season

Please note: The new weapons often also come as purchasable cosmetic bundles in the real money shop. If you get the weapon through a bundle, only the attachments of the weapon blueprint will be available to you. However, you must unlock the base weapon through a challenge or the Battle Pass.
CoD Warzone: Unlock DMR M1916
How do I unlock the weapon? The M1916 is part of the Battle Pass. You will receive the weapon at level 15.
What kind of weapon is this? The semi-automatic weapon offers high damage, a fast rate of fire and range, but has a strong visual recoil.
However, due to strong “re-centering,” the DMR quickly returns to its starting position, allowing for accurate follow-up shots. The M1916 also offers an attachment for automatic fire.
In Warzone, weapons of this kind are considered rather weak. Apart from the nasty phase with the OP-DMR 14, single-fire weapons like the M1916 usually remain in the locker.
CoD Warzone: Unlock Assault Rifle Nikita AVT
How do I unlock the weapon? The Nikita AVT is part of the Battle Pass. You will receive the weapon at level 31.
What kind of weapon is this? The Nikita offers significantly more potential than the new DMR. The assault rifle has the highest rate of fire among the Vanguard assault rifles and can handle close combat as well as long range, according to the CoD blog.
However, the high rate of fire is offset by considerable recoil. A strong kick at the start of sustained fire results in a jagged recoil pattern.
As a result, long-range use in Warzone is rather unlikely. Predictable and clear recoil patterns are essential here. As sniper support or close-combat assault rifle, the Nikita should have chances.
CoD Warzone: Unlock Melee Weapon Sledgehammer
How do I unlock the weapon? Achieve a multi-kill with melee weapons in 15 different matches.
What kind of weapon is this? In the multiplayer of CoD: Vanguard, you can knock down opponents with one hit.
In Warzone, such weapons are rarely helpful. Here, only fast melee weapons with a quick strike rate and high movement speed will get you ahead.

How do I unlock the weapon? Get 3 kills while sliding in 15 different matches.
What kind of weapon is this? The MP is compared to the powerful Owen Gun in the blog. According to initial descriptions, the Blixen could be a strong sniper support with high damage, but also with corresponding recoil resistance.
