The well-known CoD pro Scump has presented his personal weapon setup for what he considers the best assault rifle of Season 5 for Call of Duty: Warzone – the new AN-94. And this is how you can replicate it.
Are you looking for good weapons for Warzone in Season 5? Recently, Season 5 has started in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Warzone. And with the new season, traditionally, some new weapons have come into play – the assault rifle AN-94 and the ISO, a submachine gun.
If you are now looking for a strong firearm or a fresh alternative for Warzone in Season 5, then the following weapon setup might be just right for you. Because assault rifles are among the most popular weapon categories in Battle Royale, and pro player and former CoD world champion Scump has now conveniently presented his personal setup for the latest assault rifle from Season 5.
This is what the weapon is about: Pro Seth “Scump” Abner relies on the new AN-94 in Season 5. In his opinion, it is currently the best assault rifle for fights in Warzone and is said to be very strong in the right hands at almost any distance. So it might definitely be worth trying this weapon in combination with Scump’s setup.
This is Scump’s setup for the AN-94: In the following configuration, the AN-94 is very precise, has almost no recoil, and is very strong at medium range (and sometimes even beyond).
- Muzzle: Muzzle brake (Monolith)
- Barrel: AN-94 Factory X-438mm
- Sight: Holo Sight (Corps Combat)
- Underbarrel: Command Foregrip
- Ammunition: 60-round magazine
Keep in mind that you need to reach level 66 with the weapon to be able to use all the attachments listed here.
This is what makes Scump’s setup special: This setup is also found among many other pros who are currently active in Warzone. Because it has proven to be particularly effective. However, there is a very important exception in Scump’s eyes: the sight optic.
Many use the VLK optic – especially on precise weapons like the AN-94. This allows for precision engagements even over longer distances. Scump himself admits that he usually swears by the VLK scope on many of his weapons. But with the AN, it’s different.
“Here it’s a little different. Normally you see me with the VLK on many of my weapons,” the Pro says about his sight choice. “But as I have found out, the VLK is actually not good on this weapon. The Holo sight, however, is very, very good. For some reason. It’s really strange, doesn’t make sense, but you can trust me on this.”
So you should definitely try the weapon with the Holo sight. Because even if the choice of sight optics largely depends on the individual preferences of each player, the former world champion is very strong in Warzone and certainly knows what he’s talking about. And if you don’t like this sight, you can always switch to another alternative.
