Today, on May 29, 2020, there is a long-awaited innovation in Call of Duty: Warzone. The BR-Duo mode is coming, a mode that fans have been wanting for a long time. Additionally, there is double XP at the end of Season 3.
In the official blog, developer Infinity Ward surprisingly announced today that the long-awaited Duo mode will launch for Call of Duty: Warzone (via Activision). An official announcement then came via Twitter around 8 PM:
Long-Awaited Duo Mode is Live
The Duo mode has been long requested by players, as it fills a gap in team sizes and now allows for participation from solo to 4-player teams in all sizes.
Actually, the mode was supposed to come earlier, but the developers stated that some adjustments in balancing were needed before the Duo mode would go live. Now it is finally available.
Even in Apex Legends, fans had long requested a permanent Duo mode, and the developer ultimately listened to the fans.
This is what the mode offers: You can team up with a friend or be matched with a random player. Then you will be released in Verdansk, where you must defeat the other 2-player teams together.
Bonus XP for the Weekend in CoD Warzone
Additionally, there is more XP: Also starting today, May 29, 2020, is the last Double XP weekend of Season 3. During this time, you will earn double XP, double “Battle Pass” points, and double weapon XP.
This weekend could be worthwhile not only because of the new Duo mode, to play a bit more and to level up.
